Privacy policy

This policy explains how we process personal data on the Athleticore website and in connection with the Athleticore apps, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.

1. Controller

Athlete Metrics & Performance Diagnostics s. r. o., registered office Na Zlatej nohe 12896/11, 831 01 Bratislava - Nové Mesto, Slovakia, company ID (IČO): 57 032 581, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, section Sro, insert No. 188974/B ("we").

Data protection contact: info@athleticore.sk. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

2. What data we process and why

Contact form

  • Data: full name, practice or club, email, phone, organization type, message and website language.
  • Purpose: replying to your request and sending you information about the product.
  • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Retention: 12 months after the last contact, unless it leads to a contract.

Website operation and security

  • Data: IP address, request time, browser type and technical server logs.
  • Purpose: securing the website and preventing form abuse (submission limits, bot protection).
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention: up to 30 days, unless needed to handle a security incident.

Athleticore apps

In the apps, experts, practices and clubs process their athletes’ data, including test results and health data. For this data the practice or club is the controller and we act as their processor under Art. 28 GDPR, based on a data processing agreement. We process health data only on the controller’s instructions and with enhanced security measures.

We process customer account data (name, email, login and billing details) as controller to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and meet legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the period required by law.

3. Recipients

We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing. It may be processed by our processors who provide:

  • hosting and server operation,
  • email notifications (Brevo),
  • bot protection for the form (Cloudflare Turnstile), when enabled.

We process data primarily within the European Union. If a processor transfers data outside the EU/EEA, this happens only with appropriate safeguards (e.g. the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

4. Cookies

The website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Only strictly necessary files needed for the website to work and for form protection may be used.

5. Your rights

  • the right of access and rectification,
  • the right to erasure and to restriction of processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing before the withdrawal,
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, https://dataprotection.gov.sk.

To exercise your rights, email info@athleticore.sk. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest. For data processed in the app for your practice or club, please contact them first; we will help them handle your request.

6. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects for you.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page. Effective from 14 October 2026.
